Dusty Higgins is an award-winning cartoonist, illustrator, and graphic designer who’s career has spanned from designing infographics and illustrations for newspapers, developing branding and marketing materials, teaching as a professor of digital media, and directing shorts and visual development for animation. Higgins’ debut graphic novel, Pinocchio Vampire Slayer, was a 2010 Top Ten Great Graphic Novels for Teens from the Young Adult Library Association. His books have also been recognized as Junior Library Guild selections.
Higgins has illustrated (and written) over a dozen books and graphic novels, amounting to over a thousand pages of sequential media, and has illustrated hundreds of spot and feature illustrations for newspapers and magazines. His work has been published through Simon and Schuster, IDW, Top Shelf, Dark Horse, and SLG Comics.
